About Maison Charron
Maison Charron lives inside one of the oldest buildings in the National Capital Region—quietly nestled in Jacques-Cartier Park, just across the river from Parliament. Built around 1810, the house was known for generations as Chrissie’s House, named for Christiana Chamberlin, whose family once owned the land. Its story is one of resilience, early settler life, and the layered histories that shaped this region.

Today, the house has found new life as a seasonal terrace—open to sun, sky, and the spirit of gathering. It’s a place where time slows down, where long lunches blend into golden evenings, and where the noise of the city feels far away, even though it’s only steps beyond the trees.

The menu is rooted in freshness and meant to be shared. Pizzas, small plates, chilled wine, and a breeze off the water—everything designed to celebrate the present, in a place that remembers the past.
